At Expertz Tech LLC, client engagements are governed by strict sprint milestones, transparent architectural deliverables, and clear refund provisions. We align compensation strictly with verified engineering performance.

Milestone-Based Milestone Governance

All custom software engineering contracts with Expertz Tech LLC are executed on structured milestone deliverables outlined in the bilateral Statement of Work (SOW):

STAGE 1: DISCOVERY

Architecture scoping, SRS documents, and UI/UX design mockups.

STAGE 2: SPRINT CYCLES

Functional code delivery, API integrations, and sandbox staging.

STAGE 3: PRODUCTION

Final security audit, source code handover, and production rollout.

Funds allocated to a specific milestone are held in escrow or billed upon milestone sign-off. Once a milestone deliverable is inspected and formally approved by the client, the corresponding funds are considered earned and non-refundable.

Discovery Phase & Initial Deposits

Pre-Sprint Cancellation (Within 72 Hours): If an engagement is cancelled prior to technical resource allocation or design ideation, 100% of the initial deposit is promptly reimbursed minus standard bank transaction processing fees.
Active Discovery Sprint: Once the dedicated engineering team begins architecture blueprinting, technical spike tests, or UX research, the initial deposit is non-refundable, covering accrued engineering labor.

Service Level Agreement (SLA) Failure Credits

For retained maintenance, infrastructure hosting, and managed DevOps tiers, Expertz Tech LLC guarantees 99.999% system availability. In the improbable event of an infrastructure outage attributable directly to our core code:

Monthly Uptime Between 99.0% & 99.9%15% Service Fee Credit

Monthly Uptime Below 99.0%35% Service Fee Credit

Critical Architecture Bug Unresolved > 24 Hours100% Sprint Credit or Immediate Prorated Refund

Mutual Cancellation & Prorated Settlement

Either party may terminate the project engagement upon giving 14 calendar days written notice. In such circumstances:

All completed and verified milestone code is pushed to the client's GitHub/GitLab repositories.
Any unearned advance retainer funds allocated to future unincurred sprints are returned within 10 business days.
All intellectual property, container registries, and API keys are immediately transferred to the client.
